Well we still have more to go, I hope your still with me The next seven videos are for text yes just text and some of the amazing things you can do Starting with some simple text Loes explains the 'set reference point and how it will help you, how to change just one letter, choose your alphabet and so on. How about a pretty monogram with different sized letters surrounded by a pretty oval of stitches, then on to any shape base line, how to change the base line, fine tuning the text and tips on lining the text up Now Loes has some fun with the letter A for apple and this design looks real cute, the letter A has fancy fill and the word apple is shaped like an apple she then adds more text and shows some more ways to play with text, and she makes it look so much fun you just have to start and play your self and you begin to realise all the possibilities We now go on to elastic lettering this is a another way to manipulate text and Loes makes it look all so easy, which it is when you know how. Loes now shows you how to combine different techniques to alter your text this could be quite addictive. And did you know that you could change the shape of a letter I mean the shape not just stretching it but changing it with the reshape object tool, watch this movie it can be done. I cannot do these movies justice here they have to be seen and heard, Loes is explaining in detail what she is doing all the time as she goes along So that's twenty three videos that accompany the work book, next are the videos that go with the projects book Oh how I wish words would describe these last videos and the designs you finish with if any one has seen a typist who knows how to type and uses lets say Microsoft's Word how they know the keyboard and the shortcuts keys so that the job is done fast, accurate ,perfect, and there you are pecking at the keys highlighting text to change scrolling with the mouse not knowing the hot keys etc, well that's the difference, you become a wizard with the software you know how to make this software work for you because you understand it, and that goes a long way in getting the designs you want faster more accurately without thread jumps that were not needed.and what YOU can do with text well basically there is nothing you cannot do |
