Getting a bit more complex now, Loes explains object properties and the difference between object based and stitched based designs, very useful information and demonstrates too, so that you can really understand. These next four videos show how changing entrance and exit point effect your design also how pull compensation works, why your design can become distorted and your outlines will be off,Loes explains and demonstrates all these points that could spoil your embroidery. Loes clearly shows here the difference with designs that are either stitched based or object based and points out with demonstrations the limitations and the plus points of each so that if you have designs in other formats how to best treat those designs and what you can and cannot do with them, you will never need to wonder again its all explained very clearly. Loes then goes on to the portfolio part of the Artista program, here you will learn how best to use it, I know this has caused headaches for many and here she fully explains how to organise your folders and how to print them out, she explains converting designs and much more Loes now shows you by digitising a design in an illogical sequence with all the resulting thread jumps, how to rearrange these to give a better stitch out, she shows you many methods so that you can choose the one most suitable for the design your working on, by then have learnt to travel through a design, to check the way your machine will stitch the design out and how cut and paste can be your best friend Have you ever opened a design and found it to be in very strange colours, here Loes explains why and then demonstrates the quickest way to change the colours, and how to check the design very thoroughly, how to choose the colours from the shade charts in your program and the different ways to do it. Loes now explains and shows how to save your own templates with your own colour pallets and object properties Suppose you have certain designs that you do a lot such as flowers you may want to save those colours and object properties so that you do not have to redo this every time, or if you wish you may want to save all the colours that you have in your embroidery thread box, you can do that too, but Loes also shows another easy way to do this and it was something that I had not thought of doing before but it works, making life a little easier Again here and I know I am repeating my self you will learn the better way to do something, but nothing Loes shows you is difficult either because she demonstrates tips and tricks that make creating a design much easier, as she speaks to you she explains why, and what the software is doing, this lady believe me understands this software |
